Meeting the Minister

We have been attending a new church for the last 3 weeks. It is minutes from the house and we believe is going to be a perfect fit. They have been holding services in the local high school cafeteria for years. They just finished building an actual church building in June. They are still working out many of the kinks, but it is already feeling like home. Confirmation came last night at dinner. Sunday morning the minister came up and invited us to dinner Monday night. So last night we headed over to meet Pete and Stephanie and their 5 children. We had a lovely dinner and stayed there until almost 11:00pm playing cards. After talking with them and enjoying their company, we really feel like we may truly be "home". And to top it off, Stephanie homeschools the children. Isn't God great to not only answer our prayers for a church home, but also send someone into my life to encourage and support our homeschooling endeavors? Praise Him!!
