Life is ever-changing in the world of real estate. The contract on our house fell through so we are now back to square one. We have decided to lease it if it doesn't sell first. We aren't thrilled with leasing it as we really just wanted to be done with it, but leasing may be the way we have to go. This sad turn of events has also set up a new problem. We have to give the owner's of the house here a 30 day notice of intent to close. The way our contract is written that has to be by May 15th. Yep, 8 days. Well it is almost impossible for us to sell our house and get closed by then unless someone comes in with cash TODAY. We aren't willing to agree to close without dealing with our TX house first. All that to say, it looks like we will lose the house here that we so dearly love. I'm trying not to be sad about it and just trust the Lord. He knows what house we are supposed to be in and apparently this one isn't it. So we will be back to house hunting now and continuing to pray for the sale of our house.
