March Madness usually refers to basketball, but at our house it describes the current theme.
This is what the month of March is looking like in our house! My sweet Ed fell from a ladder a week ago and broke his left heel bone and ankle. He had corrective surgery yesterday and will be in the hospital until Friday. He is in extreme pain and they still have not figured out the best pain medicine cocktail to keep him comfortable. I am hopeful this last dose of medicine will be what works.
It will be a long and painful recovery for Ed. Please keep him in your prayers. He isn't good at sitting still and being cared for. He is a better servant than recipient. We are hopeful that he will be semi-mobile fairly soon and mostly-mobile by late spring. There definitely won't be any ladders in his immediate future!
